Dr. Tanya Oswald earned a medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where she also completed a rotation as a general surgery resident and a fellowship in microsurgery and complex wound reconstruction. Dr. Oswald completed a fellowship in microsurgery in Taiwan and Australia. She also participated in the Institute of Plastic Surgery S.C. Mexico and the Cleft and Palate Program, Nuevo Amanecer A.C., in Guanajuato, Mexico. Her training also included time as a visiting scholar in microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, and as a visiting microsurgery fellow at the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Oswald is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Her specialties include microsurgery reattachment procedures, plastic and burn surgery, as well as laser procedures.
